It's a Brave New World and I am a officially a blogger. Vamos a ver!
Our talented friend, Megan, has put a new look on the Everyday Adventures website and she tasked me with updating day to day activities and pertinent events using this social media.
As the first big swells of March begin to roll through, we are noticing new recruitments to or wildlife populations. Most apparent to me are all 4 species of primate, both kinds of sloth and tamanduas... all with offspring! Year of the sheep my ass, it is year of the anteater!
King Louie waterfall is nearly asleep for the rest of the dry season, though this is the second year in a row it has flowed into March. We had 3 really hard, short rains in February that helped keep it running but may have knocked off our mango flowers before the pollinators got to them. We'll see if it affects the food resource for fruit and seed eaters locally.
